Mathera (“Mathera”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is an iOS application developed by Rafael Barbosa Guimarães (individual developer) located in Brazil.

This Privacy Policy explains how Mathera collects, uses, shares, stores, and protects information when you use the app. It is designed to comply with applicable privacy laws, including Brazil’s LGPD, the GDPR (EEA/UK), and the CCPA/CPRA (California), and to align with Apple App Store privacy requirements.

Important note about AI prompts: Mathera’s core feature uses third-party AI services to process the text prompt you type in order to generate meditation content. By default, Mathera includes your provided name with your prompt so the generated meditation can greet you by name. You can turn this off in the app’s account settings. Do not enter personal data (PII) or sensitive information (including health data) into prompts. Your prompt text (and, by default, your name for greeting purposes unless you opt out) is processed by a third-party AI provider (Google) to generate results.

2) Information We Collect

We collect information in two ways: (A) information you provide, and (B) information collected automatically when you use the app.

A. Information you provide

• Account information (Sign in with Apple)

  When you sign in, Apple provides us with:

  • Name
  • Email address (which may be an Apple “Hide My Email” relay address)

  We also generate and store:

  • User ID (created by Supabase) to manage your account.

• User prompts and generated content

  • Prompt text you enter to request a meditation.
  • Generated outputs (e.g., the generated meditation script and/or audio output) to deliver the service.
  • Greeting preference (whether personalized greetings are enabled or disabled in account settings).
  • Name for greeting generation (by default, your provided name is included in the request sent to our AI provider to generate a personalized greeting, unless you opt out in account settings).

• Support communications

  If you contact us, we may collect the information you include (such as your email, message content, and any attachments).
